1. Who we are
BreedersHub is a digital breeding and puppy-management service that helps breeders organise dogs, litters and puppy records and, where invited by a breeder, share selected puppy information with connected families.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use BreedersHub, we may process:
- account information such as name, email address, account role and sign-in information;
- breeder records about dogs, litters and puppies, including names, breeds, sex, dates, status, prices, deposits and breeding-management information;
- puppy care and health records entered by breeders, such as weights, feeds, care notes, microchip information, vaccination/health records and uploaded certificates;
- photos and files uploaded to BreedersHub;
- family connection information, invitations and puppy access status;
- messages exchanged through BreedersHub;
- support correspondence and limited administrative records used for account support, moderation and security;
- technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as authentication and device/session information.
3. Why we use information
We use personal information to provide BreedersHub, authenticate users, save and display records, connect breeders with invited families, deliver messages and service emails, provide customer support, protect accounts, investigate misuse and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where UK data protection law applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing BreedersHub, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is appropriate. The applicable basis depends on the specific processing activity.
5. Information shared between breeders and families
Connected families only receive puppy information that BreedersHub makes available to that family connection. Breeders control the records they enter and may remove a family’s access to a puppy. Breeders should only upload information they are entitled to store and share.
6. Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run BreedersHub, including providers for database hosting and authentication, application hosting, file storage, transactional email and business email. They process information only as needed to provide their services to BreedersHub and are subject to their own security and data-processing obligations.
7. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as recognised contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
8. How long we keep information
We keep account and app records for as long as the account or relevant breeder/family relationship is active and as needed to provide the service. When an account is deleted, associated information is deleted or anonymised unless we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may take a limited period to expire through normal system processes.
9. Account suspension and support review
BreedersHub may retain limited records of suspensions, support notes and administrative actions where necessary to protect the service, resolve disputes and maintain an appropriate audit trail. Access to these records is restricted.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, obtain a copy of certain information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise a privacy right, email support@breedershub.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Complaints
If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) about our handling of personal information.
12. Security
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect BreedersHub accounts and records, including authentication, database access controls and server-side authorisation for sensitive administrative actions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
BreedersHub is intended for adults managing breeding and puppy ownership arrangements. It is not designed for children to create or independently operate accounts.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as BreedersHub changes or legal requirements develop. The current version and effective date will always be published on this page.
